
Popeyes promotes its Blackened Chicken Sandwich in a hilarious new commercial.
The spot, titled “The Mole,” features a Popeyes employee who gets his coworkers’ attention due to his weird behavior. It soon turns out he is actually Tim and works at “the other chicken chain”. Discovering his true identity and realizing he is a chicken traitor, one of his colleagues declares this was bound to happen.
Viewers are encouraged to get the new Blackened Chicken Sandwich, which is made with chicken breast, marinated for 12 hours, and perfectly seasoned with a delicious blend of Cajun and Creole spices, pickles, classic or spicy mayo, all in a warm, toasted buttery brioche bun.
The menu item, which is an all-new take on a non-breaded option, is now available at participating locations nationwide for a limited time, at $4.99.
The chain informed that Popeyes Rewards members will receive 200 bonus points when ordering this sandwich on the Popeyes App or on Popeyes.com.
