Matalan presents “The Christmas Cupboard” as its Christmas 2022 advert.

The spot, created by McCann Manchester, features a red-haired woman who’s stepping through her wardrobe, and into her “Christmas future”, where she has everything she needs from Matalan, such as a sequinned outfit, gift wrap, tags, and “fancy plates”.

“This Christmas, there’s more to love at Matalan,” the voiceover says at the end of the 30-second ad.

Among the items showcased throughout the TV spot are a stunning blazer-style dress from the Be Beau collection, covered with eye-catching sequins and featuring a flattering V-neckline, a dress from the chic Et Vous range, created with breathable fabric and featuring a fierce pink shade, an edgy V-neckline, and an abstract swirl print, Gold Knot Block Heels, Et Vous Black Diamante Strappy Heels, a Pink Sequin Yoke Jumper, and more, including products for children and homeware.

The Fashion and homeware value retailer offers Free standard home delivery on orders over £40, free delivery to stores with Click & Collect, and free returns to stores.
