LegalZoom, a provider of personalized, online legal solutions and legal documents for small businesses and families, has enlisted actor Sam Richardson to star as a spokesman for the brand.

The 38-year-old actor, known for Veep (2012), Detroiters (2017) and Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates (2016), is featured in a recently launched commercial for LegalZoom, approaching several people and showing them the LegalZoom app, which is helpful on their journey to start their own business. Richardson inspires a man who’s eating on the sofa, in front of his TV, to become a real estate agent, another man passionate about creating puppets to start his business and sell his “creations”, and a woman to become her own boss.

Sliding on a highway in a chair, among hundreds of cars, Richardson urges drivers stuck in traffic to free themselves “from this” by going freelance.

The commercial ends with the announcer saying “Get your thing started” and adding the tagline “Legalzoom. Now you’re in business”.
