Ladder promotes its life insurance in a series of hilarious new commercials.

One of them, titled “Life Insurance So Good, It’ll Croc Your World,” features a man returning home in the evening and finding candles in the living room and on the stairs, leading him to the bedroom, where he thinks his wife waits for him for a romantic encounter. However, as he lifts the sheet, eager to see his partner, finds a crocodile eager to eat him. Hidden in the bathroom, his wife waits impatiently for the alligator to do his “job”, but she is surprised to find out, a few minutes later, that he is fine.

“Life insurance so good they’re gonna want you dead,” onscreen lines read at the end of the commercial.

The company says that Ladder is life insurance you’ll love to get. Customers have to answer a few questions online and then, if they qualify, they will get a cover with the click of a button. There are no hidden fees and they can cancel or adjust their coverage anytime.
