Gillette Canada promotes its King C Gillette, a full line of beard care tools designed to help men get the perfect look, in a new commercial, titled “Choose your game face”.
The 15-second ad, part of a campaign that celebrates the brand’s status as Official Shave and Beard Care Partner of the Toronto Raptors, points out that, since the dawn of game, a rivalry has divided men, and Team Styled chooses King C Gillette, a full line of beard care tools to get the perfect look. Fred VanVleet of the Toronto Raptors, who represents #TeamStyled, is then shown using the official trimmer of the Toronto Raptors, King C. Gillette, to groom his beard.
Gillette’s new “Choose Your Game Face” campaign celebrates the different facial hair styles men choose to wear and highlights that the brand has a product to groom every game face, be it clean-shaven, bearded, or a style in between.
Besides the #TeamStyled, represented by VanVleet, there also is #TeamSmooth, represented by clean-shaven forward O.G. Anunoby. In one of the spots, he uses the official razor of the Toronto Raptors, GilletteLabs with Exfoliating Bar, to shave his game face.
