GEICO highlights, in one of its latest ads, that, if you want to save money, you need to bundle your home and auto insurance.
The spot, created by The Martin Agency, depicts an imagined version of the Wright brothers’ original flight and shows the two siblings, Orville and Wilbur, fighting over the armrest in their wooden plane. After a short mid-air slap fight, Orville pulls down a tray table and starts munching on a bag of peanuts.
The voiceover declares that, if you’re on a flight, you need to share the armrest, and if you want to save by bundling car and home insurance, you need GEICO. “See How Much You Could Save by Bundling With GEICO” the narrator adds at the end of the commercial.
GEICO is not the only company using the Wright Brothers brand in its ads. CareFree Sugarless Gum and Virgin Atlantic have also featured aviation pioneers Orville and Wilbur Wright in one of their commercials.
