Expedia aims to inspire people, through its latest commercial to visit places that fulfill their dreams. The travel company celebrates lemon lovers in the world with an ad titled “Lemons”.
“Lemons. Lemons. Lemons. Look how nice they are. The moment you become an Expedia member, you can instantly start saving on your travels. So you can go and see all those lovely lemony lemons. And never wonder if you got a good deal. Because you did,” the voiceover says in the 30-second ad, which features a diverse cast of people who do various things related to their love for lemons. While some of them are enjoying a piece of fruit in the countryside, others are visiting a town in Italy named “Limone” (which means “Lemon” in English), others are running a marathon dressed in lemon costumes, and others slip into a relaxing hot spring with dozens of lemons.
“Sign up for free. Save with member pricing,” onscreen lines read at the end of the commercial before the tagline “Expedia. Made to Travel” appears.
