eBay UK highlights, in one of its latest ads, that there’s a small business for everything.

The 30-second spot features a curly haired girl discovering that there’s a small business that sells sheets for cats on eBay and then starts singing a song about all the small businesses selling stuff on eBay, including smartphones, headphones, heads for her brush, bathroom tiles, bath bombs, bomber jackets, icing kits, ice packs, even a home that comes flat packed.

“There’s over 300.000 small businesses for all that,” says the girl toward the end of the advert.

eBay, which describes itself as “Home of small businesses. Always.”, says that you can connect your small business with over 147 million buyers and encourages small business owners to start selling on eBay.

In 2020, the e-commerce platform pledged $100 million to support North American small businesses. As part of the program, eBay offered new businesses a free basic eBay store for three months and waiving selling fees for up to 500 sold items.
