Deliveroo highlights the wide range of food options consumers can have delivered in a new ad.
Titled “Decision Time”, the 30-second spot features a woman who’s dreaming about various foods that she might have delivered to her door with Deliveroo. She sees herself eating a hot slice of pizza, which she loves, floating in the air near a delicious meaty hamburger, and some crispy chicken. The doorbell brings her back to reality and on her sofa, where the actual order arrives through Deliveroo, and it turns out she had made her decision and got noodles.
At the end of the commercial, the voiceover urges viewers to order now their favorite meal while onscreen lines highlight that consumers can choose from big names like Nando’s, Pho, Five Guys, wagamama or PizzaExpress, plus a huge number of local favorites. Eventually, the brand’s tagline, “Food. We get it.” appears on the screen.
The online food delivery company has been promoting its delivery services in multiple other ads over the past years. Consumers can have their restaurant food, takeaway and groceries delivered to them in a flash. With the Deliveroo app, which is available for download on the AppStore and on Google Play, they can see when their rider has picked up their order and follow them along the way, and they will also get a notification when they are nearby, too.
