Credit Karma highlights, in one of its latest ads, that, with the company’s technology, you can be more confident in your chance of approval for a great credit card before you even apply.

The spot, titled “Power Ballad,” features a man who has 62 tabs open on his laptop at 3 in the morning and still has no idea if he will be approved for a good credit card. However, he managed to overcome uncertainty in the past, like when he sang to a woman he liked in a karaoke bar. The voiceover points out that getting approved for a credit card is a different tune and mentions that, with karma confidence technology, you can be more confident in your chance of approval for a great credit card before you even apply.

The commercial ends with the man in the karaoke bar paying for some drinks for both himself and the woman he likes, with his credit card. The voiceover urges you to “Get the money app where your hard work pays off and create your own karma”.
