Apple celebrates this year’s International Day of People with Disabilities (which is this weekend, on Saturday, December 3rd) with a new commercial, titled “The Greatest”, which highlights accessibility features available on the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch.
The spot shows a diverse cast of physically-impaired people who use features available on their Apple devices, like Door Detection, which can detect doors around you and help you understand how to open the door, Sound Recognition, which can notify you to certain sounds, such as a crying baby, doorbell, or siren, Voice Control, which lets you navigate and interact with Apple devices using your voice to tap, swipe, type, VoiceOver, AssistiveTouch, and Magnifier to live their lives.
The soundtrack music is “I Am the Greatest (with Marliya Choir)” by Spinifex Gum feat. Cola Boyy and Matthew Whitaker.
