The iconic Tin Man character from the Wonderful Wizard of Oz takes center stage in this year’s Christmas campaign of Ireland’s national postal service, An Post.

The advert, scored by Lyra’s “The Magic of Christmas”, features the Tin Man unable to get into the Christmas spirit due to the fact that he doesn’t have a heart. One night, a neighbor notices him all alone in a bar and comes up with an idea: to create a special Christmas card and send it to him from the heart, wishing him happy holidays.

The little red heart delivered to him through An Post has a huge positive impact on him and helps him feel special and loved.

The dvert aims to highlight the joy and connection receiving a card can bring to the recipient and inspire people to send posts to those that matter most, this holiday season.

Developed in partnership with agency Folk Wunderman Thompson, the campaign will run across multiple channels, including TV, VOD, OOH, Radio, Social and Retail.
