Home warranty provider American Home Shield has dropped a new commercial to tout its coverage plans.

The spot features a couple whose AC system died in the middle of summer and they found themselves stuck on their leather sofa and armchair because of the sweat. Luckily, they are members of American Home Shield, which provides home service plans that help cover the cost when parts of more than 20 home systems and appliances wear out (like their AC just did).

The next scene shows a homeowner who says her toilet has been flushing for three hours straight, but it’s “no biggie,” though because her American Home Shield plan covers items no matter their age. When several items from her bathroom are flushed down the broken toilet, she mentions she already showered.

The commercial ends with the voiceover urging viewers to go to ahs.com for a free quote.

American Home Shield provides three coverage plans, with increasing levels of coverage, to homeowners who want to protect themselves from an unexpected repair or replacement costs.
