Wendy’s has launched a new campaign for its 2 for $4 deal, which gives customers the chance to get 2 breakfast sandwiches for $4.
One of the ads, created like a TV ad, features a man in an office sharing his experience with another restaurant, complaining that he was repeatedly served with rubbery bacon that was exposed to a microwave. He then adds that Wendy’s stepped in and got him 2 breakfast sandwiches for $4 and now his bacon is always hot and crispy and he has extra money for his various business dealings.
The commercial informs that you can choose from Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit (made with a seasoned and crispy-fried chicken filet topped with maple honey butter and served on a fluffy buttermilk biscuit), Classic Bacon, Egg & Cheese (made with a fried fresh-cracked grade A egg, Applewood-smoked bacon, and a slice of melted American cheese on a warm breakfast roll) or Sausage, Egg & Cheese Sandwich (made with a fried fresh-cracked grade A egg, grilled sausage and a slice of melted American cheese on a warm breakfast roll), and ends with the voiceover saying that Wendy’s has helped thousands of clients get not one but two for $4.
