British online retailer Very has released a new ad to highlight the role the home has played during lockdown.
The spot, created WPP creative agency Grey, features real families from across Britain as they participate in different activities around the house, such as teaching, learning, holidaying, working and exercise, and jumps between households, showing them all singing Madness’ single “Our House”. Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Kelly Brooke, Suggs, the frontman of the band Madness, make appearances.
Launched with the tagline “Our house is our world this Very moment,” which flashes across the screen at its end, the advert builds on the “Life is this Very moment” platform launched last October. It premiered on ITV during Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
The new campaign also includes a Very House Party DJ set by Ellis-Bextor, which will be hosted on TikTok and a series of home makeovers gifted through the year-long sponsorship of Good Guys Decorating.
