Swatch has released a new ad for its Swatch Bioceramic collection, highlighting that time is what you make of it.
The spot features a diverse cast in various life scenarios, with onscreen lines revealing how much time is left until a specific moment. Thus, for a woman moving into a new house there are 51 minutes to open the next chapter, for a young man standing in nature there is one day to refocus, a young couple have 45 seconds to get the right mix, another couple riding a motorcycle have 2 hours for a new path, a female boxer has a lifetime of power and there are 4 seconds for bioceramic.
“Time Is What You Make Of It” an onscreen line reads at the end of the commercial, which is scored by Édith Piaf’s “Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien”.
The watches in the brand’s new collection are made of an entirely new material, which mixes ceramic (two-thirds) with bio-sourced plastic (one-third) and is both resilient and resistant with a silk-like touch, uniting the best of both worlds.
The bracelet, glass, and loops are made from bio-sourced plastic and there are five colors to choose from – the classic design statements black and white, the “color of the year” grey, optimistic sky-blue, and new power-pink.
