Rocket Mortgage highlights, in its latest commercial, that, when you need the right team to help you score the home of your dreams, Rocket Can.

The spot features a couple visiting a house for which the competition is fierce. A Rocket Mortgage representative, played by ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit, asks them to relax because they have a team to help them out. The said team, consisting of college football mascots, is called into a huddle and Herbstreit tells the couple about the advantages they have. “You have a home buying edge – a verified approval from Rocket Mortgage. It verifies your income, credit and assets all up front, putting you ahead of a regular pre-approval and letting sellers know you’re serious,” Herbstreit says, convincing the couple they can do this.

The commercial ends with the voiceover saying “When you need a competitive edge in a crowded market, Rocket Can” and with an onscreen line informing that Rocket Mortgage is Proud Supporter of College Athletics.

Over the years, the mortgage lending company has teamed up with several celebrities to promote its Rocket Mortgage app, which helps customers, with on-demand assistance from licensed mortgage advisers available with just a tap, to go through the loan process at their own pace. Among them are actor/comedian Keegan-Michael Key, actor Ryan Kitley, pro golfer Rickie Fowler, NFL legend Barry Sanders, and comedian Tracy Morgan.
