ResMed’s new campaign shows what a difference getting a good night’s sleep can make.
The TV spot, created by Magnum & Co and titled “Good Morning,” features rugby league legend Brad Fittler waking up in the morning and starting to bust some dance moves as he heads out to retrieve the newspaper. For his dance on the front lawn he is joined by two garbage workers. An old lady living nearby can’t help notice that he is fresh as new and full of energy every single morning.
“For over 30 years, ResMed has been helping Aussies sleep better so that every morning feels like a good morning,” the voiceover says at the end of the commercial, which also encourages viewers to take a free sleep assessment and features the tagline “Awaken your best” across the screen.
ResMed is a snoring solution and CPAP machine business which has been operating in Australia for over 30 years.
“With 40% of Australians not getting enough sleep, it’s clear we don’t take our sleep health as seriously as we should. But rather than dramatise the downside of not getting enough, we simply wanted to show how great you feel when you do get quality sleep. The importance of improving Australia’s sleep health was a mission we loved getting behind,” Carl Moggridge, managing partner at Magnum & Co, said in a press statement.
