Fast fashion online retailer PrettyLittleThing has named Martina Mansaray, a BA (Hons) Fashion Design graduate from UCA Rochester, as the winner of its Designer of the Year competition and has released a new ad to showcase the capsule collection designed by the young artist (which was the prize of the competition).

Mansaray, who – according to PTL – showcased “bold designs that celebrate the female form” during the competition, brought to life her vision, which draws inspirations from pop culture and the varied mix of diversity that was present around her growing up in North London. Described as a “creative visionary” who “is no doubt set to make waves in the fashion world,” Mansaray came up with a Pink Printed Mesh Overlocked Bodycon Dress, a Lilac Printed Mesh Asymmetric Crop Top, a Green Printed Ruched Cut Out Midi Dress, Chocolate Brown Ruched Leggings, Blue Printed Slinky Ruched Bodycon Skirt, and more.

The song used in the ad is the 2020 single “Confidence” by American singer, songwriter and producer from California Chelsea Perkins.
