Hershey’s has released a new ad for its PAYDAY Peanut Caramel Bars, described as “the right combination of salty sweet goodness”.
The spot highlights that the PAYDAY Peanut Caramel Bar has “tons of peanuts and a caramel core that get the job done, so you can think of it as a tool to hammer your hunger, cut your appetite in half and utterly demolish your urge for peanuts”. In the ad, which ends with the tagline “Get to it,” the bar is used as a hammer, a whipsaw and a wrecking ball.
First invented in 1932 by Frank Martoccio, the PAYDAY Peanut Caramel Bars became part of The Hershey Company family in 1996. They are available as Peanut and Caramel Snack Size Candy Bar, Peanut and Caramel King Size Candy Bar, Peanut and Caramel 6 pack Candy Bars, Peanut and Caramel 1.85 oz candy bar, Chocolatey Covered Peanut and Caramel King Size Candy Bar, and Chocolatey Covered Peanut and Caramel Candy Bars.
