Kohl’s has launched its Spring campaign with a commercial that aims to inspire people to find little ways to make big memories.
The spot features a young girl who, after seeing a grumpy delivery man, decides to do something to brighten the day of those passing in front of her house. She thus comes up with the idea of drawing a hopscotch on the sidewalk. It soon turns out that her idea was great – all those passing by, including teenage boys, a woman jogging, a senior couple and even the delivery man who was never smiling – start playing the game with enthusiasm.
The ad, which showcases a range of everyday essentials for the spring for the entire family, ends with the line “Spring will all you’ve got” flashing across the screen.
The soundtrack music is the 2013 single “Sunny Side of the Street” by American musician, bandleader, and television personality Jonathan Batiste, from his album “Jazz Is Now”.
Kohl’s offers fast and free store pickup, gives its customers the chance to earn Kohl’s Cash on every purchase with Kohl’s Rewards, get 15% off when they sign up for emails, and indirectly help support the health and wellness of families in their communities with Kohl’s Cares program.
