Heinz UK asks if you are “a serious mayo lover” in its latest advert, which promotes the brand’s Seriously Good Mayonnaise.
The spot features a diverse cast of Heinz Seriously Good Mayonnaise lovers, including Joey, who loves it for its rich, creamy flavor, Ally, who only pops mayo on her salad, and mayo connoiseeyr Bob, who prefers the fancier things in life and uses it to eat burgers and fries.
“Behind seriously good mayonnaise made for serious mayo lovers,” the voiceover says at the end of the advert, which features Vivaldi’s “Spring” from The Four Seasons.
Heinz has promoted its mayonnaise in the past. A previous advert in the brand’s “Heinz Makes It Better” campaign featured a young woman on a bus who, seeing the hairdo of the passenger in front of her, starts dreaming about French fries dipped in Heinz [Seriously] Good Mayonnaise.
Introduced in April 2018, Heinz Deliciously Creamy Real Mayonnaise, sold in a wide mouth jar for ease of use, is made with highest-quality ingredients, like 100% cage-free eggs, real lemon juice and hand-selected vinegars and oil, according to the brand. Its mayonnaise range also includes Delicious Classic Mayo and Creamy Light Mayo, which add a subtle flavor to your sandwich.
Besides the famous ketchup and sauces, Heinz also produces vinegar, ranked #1 branded vinegar in the US, ready-to-serve soups, including Italian Minestrone, Creamy Pumpkin, Capsicum Tomato & Herb, Sweetcorn, Tomato & Parsley, and more, with no preservatives, no artificial coloring, no artificial flavoring, and no GM ingredients, spaghetti, baked beans, canned tuna, and pickles.
In 2019, the brand teamed up with award-winning musician Ed Sheeran for an advert touting the Heinz Tomato Ketchup.
As part of the campaign, Heinz also released a limited-edition, Ed-inspired bottle of regular Heinz Ketchup, which went on sale on a special website for $5 plus shipping.
