DoorDash highlights, in one of its latest ads, that now you can get food, milk, convenience, and more delivered to your door.
The spot features NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace who, seeing that he ran out of milk, orders it on DoorDash. He also adds to his cart several other products, including dog food, which come to life in the grocery store and all head to his house to the rhythms of “Auf und auf voll lebenslust” by Franz Lang, known as the Yodelking.
“Get food, milk, convenience” onscreen lines read at the end of the commercial, which also sees the tagline “Get more to your door” flashing across the screen.
Earlier this summer, DoorDash partnered with PetSmart and gave customers, for a limited time, the chance to get 20% off their PetSmart order on DoorDash.
A dedicated commercial, scored by Barry Louis Polisar’s “I’ve Got a Dog and My Dog’s Name Is Cat” and starring Wallace and his dog, Asher, promoted the deal.
DoorDash enables thus on-demand delivery of pet food, supplies, and accessories through its on-demand delivery platform in an attempt to shift consumer perceptions away from being merely a food-delivery company.
