Deliveroo has launched a new ad campaign, titled “Food. We get it”, to promote its services. However, the campaign also focuses on the quality of food and its taste and the first spot shines a light on garlic.
The commercial, created by agency Pablo, opens with a dramatic scene, with someone taking out a garlic bulb from the ground while the voiceover says “It was born in the dark, locked in the ground.” Garlic is then presented as “the loudest secret ingredient in every dish ever loved,” “the beating heart of great food,” featuring in a variety of dishes, from Dubai to Marrakesh, and all brought to you by Deliveroo, while onscreen images showcase a variety of meals from fast-foods to restaurants and more.
The spot ends with the tagline “Food. We get it.” flashing across the screen.
