CarMax has released a new ad to promote its instant online offers.
The spot features Kelly Oubre entering a CarMax branch showing his smartphone with an instant offer he received. The employee says he doesn’t have Oubre in the data base, which makes the basketball player reveal another name. The retailer aims to highlight, thus, that, no matter what name it’s under, the online offer you receive is good for 7 days.
The “Call Your Shot” campaign also features four-time WNBA champion Sue Bird and three-time NBA champion Stephen Curry, AT&T NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion Zach LaVine, and award-winning journalist Adrian Wojnarowski.
In December 2020, the retailer of used cars announced a new multiyear partnership with the NBA, WNBA and Turner Sports, becoming the official auto retailer of the NBA and WNBA, as well as the presenting partner of NBA Tip-Off on TNT. CarMax is also the official auto retailer sponsor of the LA Clippers, Portland Trail Blazers and Golden State Warriors.
CarMax, which has 220 stores and over 25,000 Associates, provides a variety of vehicle delivery methods, including home delivery, contactless curbside pickup, and appointments in its stores.
