BWS has launched a new campaign, created in partnership with M&C Saatchi Sydney, to highlight its one-hour delivery capability and 30-minute pick up.
The spot is set in 1514 BC (Before Convenience) and features several men trying to pick up a sword stuck in stone. When one of them goes to buy drinks, another one succeeds to take the sword. A BWS worker asks him about the reason why he left, telling him that the retailer could have delivered them in one hour with the promise of free delivery on his next order in case that would have taken longer than one hour.
Learning the news, the man lets all the bottles fall to the ground, but this doesn’t stop him from have a drink with his fellows.
The commercial ends with the tagline “CWS How Convenient” flashing across the screen.
BWS has become the first Australian drinks retailer to offer a guarantee on its one-hour drinks delivery service.
This guarantee means that if a customer’s drinks take longer than one hour to be delivered, BWS will give the customer free delivery on their next order.
“The events of 2020 have forever changed the way our customers shop and their expectations of convenience have never been higher. We try hard to make BWS the most convenient place to buy drinks, which is why we are introducing a guarantee so customers can count on us for getting speedy delivery,” said BWS Managing Director, Scott Davidson, in a press statement.
