Apple promotes its iPhone 12 in a new commercial, which focuses on the smartphone’s resistance due to the Ceramic Shield display.
The spot, titled “Fumble,” features a woman walking down the sidewalk, who fumbles with her iPhone 12 and tries to do everything she can to catch it in time so that the device wouldn’t fall on the concrete, but she doesn’t manage to do that. However, she does manage to re-direct it and make it land on the ground. Luckily, the iPhone 12 with Ceramic Shield is tougher than any smartphone glass and she can go on with her day as if nothing happened.
“iPhone 12 with Ceramic Shield. Tougher than any smartphone glass. Relax, it’s the iPhone,” onscreen lines read at the end of commercial.
The song used in the ad is “The Conference” by English musician Nitin Sawhney, from his “Beyond Skin” album. The track is available for purchase on Amazon for $0.99.
The iPhone 12 features Ceramic Shield OLED displays, which Apple says offers four times better drop protection than was available with prior iPhone models.
