Acura has released a new ad for its new flagship, the all-new, fully reimagined 2022 Acura MDX.
The spot, titled “Same DNA,” features a 2022 MDX driver who feels like a race car car as he speeds across the desert.
“Everything you’ve been makes you who you are” an onscreen line reads throughout the video, which gives viewers a glimpse at the car’s exterior design mainly and at the cabin (this boasts authentic materials like available open-pore wood, aluminum accents and full-grain Milano leather in all three rows).
Serving as soundtrack is Queen’s 1984 single “Tear It Up”.
The 2022 MDX features a 290-HP81 V-6 engine, a quick shifting 10-speed automatic transmission, an ultra-rigid body, all-new double-wishbone front suspension, 20-in wheels, and Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD). In terms of technology, it comes with a 12.3-in Precision Cockpit Digital Instrument Cluster that centralizes all your driving information, Alexa Built-in, AcuraLink, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, and optional ELS STUDIO 3D premium audio system.
The 2022 MDX is starting at $46,900. There are several packages, namely Technology Package, A-Spec Package, and Advance Package, that rise the price. Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system will be available on MDX and Technology packages for an additional $2,000.
