Volvo highlights its commitment to taking a lead with electrification in the auto industry in a new commercial.
The spot, which follows a family on a road trip, gives viewers a glimpse at the automaker’s recharge plug-in hybrids, pointing out that they are “electric when you want it” and run on “gas when you need it,” offering “the best of both worlds”.
“Built for the planet we share” a final onscreen line reads at the end of the commercial, which is scored by Charles William’s single “How You See The World”.
In a previous ad, the automotive company showcased the 2020 Volvo S60 Plug-in Hybrid and some its features, highlighting that this sport sedan rewrites the driving story “for the road you choose and for the planet we share”. Another commercial, which featured a diverse cast of children in the backseat of Volvo cars, as they are enjoying a ride on different kinds of weather, from bright sunny days to rainy weather, was also launched with the message that every new Volvo model will be electrified.
