The spot is shot from the perspective of two teenagers – Lisa and Ben – who meet during a vacation their parents have planned for with trivago. While Ben says that his parents have chosen not to travel abroad this year and that his mother found accommodation on trivago, Lisa says that she and her parents were just a few hours from home. They had accommodation at the same place and started a beautiful relationship there, which remained in their memory ever since. “It was the best time of my life,” Ben also says, explaining that the reason for his statement is because he met Lisa. The girl, who shares the same feelings, says she also had a great time because she met Ben.
The ad ends with the voiceover urging viewers to find more than they’re searching for, mentioning that, on trivago, you can compare accommodation offers from leading brands and find the best deals for you, and adding the tagline “Hotels? Vacation rental? And much more”.
