Subaru Forester Hybrid e-Boxer Commercial - Train

Subaru promotes its Subaru Forester Hybrid e-Boxer in Australia with an ad featuring a father and his son spending quality time together.

“Time is precious. To family it’s everything. There are moments hiding in plain sight, but all too often we miss them. At Subaru, we believe in the magic of living in the moment. Because in our life, every moment is a chance to do,” the voiceover says on the 30-second spot, which features a father and his young son going near a railroad track and watching together a train passing by.

At the end of the video an onscreen line informs that the Subaru Forester All Wheel Drive is now available in Hybrid e-Boxer.

The soundtrack music is “Walk On The Wild Side” by Nylon Studios.

The Forester features state-of-the-art safety technologies, such as a revolutionary facial recognition technology that monitors the driver’s attention, called Driver Monitoring System – Driver Focus, designed to alert the driver if they become distracted or drowsy, EyeSight Driver Assist technology, that watches the road ahead like a second pair of eyes, Auto Vehicle Hold, that allows the car hold its ground with hydraulic brake pressure maintained when in steep terrain, and entertainment technologies, such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, satellite navigation system, and a premium Harman Kardon system boasting 8 speakers, additional subwoofer and amplifier.

e-Boxer is Subaru’s new generation hybrid power unit that combines an electric motor with two of Subaru’s core technologies: the Boxer engine and Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (AWD). According to the automaker, the new e Boxer hybrid “delivers excellent driving efficiency and responsive handling, with no sacrifice to safety.” Its compact electric motor is placed near the vehicle’s center of gravity, while the battery and other components are arranged above the rear axle. The Subaru Hybrid e-Boxer is now available in selected Subaru XV and Subaru Forester models. Prices start from $40,241.
