Chris Paul is back to the small screen in a new commercial for State Farm.
The spot, part of the insurance company’s new multi-year campaign, entitled “Like a Good Neighbor,” features Alfonso Ribeiro playing the new Chris Paul and working out in Paul’s home, but causing some damage while doing that.
“Here’s the deal. There’s no replacing the real Chris Paul, just like there’s no replacing State Farm,” Jake from State Farm tells Ribero’s character, who had smashed a mirror with the basketball and smashes also the glass from a door, when jumping through it out.
The commercial ends with Jake from State Farm saying the “Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there.” slogan.
This is only one in a new series of humorous NBA spots starring Paul, Ribero and Jake from State Farm, and set to debut during NBA All-Star Weekend.
