HomeAdvisor has released a series of new ads to promote its app.
One of them, dubbed “Many Forms,” features Ted, a man who’s looking for a contractor to repair the steps in front of his house and tries all the possible ways to find the right pro. He asks around for recommendations, plasters fliers around, hires a private investigator to track down a reliable option, and – when all that doesn’t work, he even tries by releasing a fleet of carrier pigeons to see if anyone out there can get the job done.
Eventually, he uses HomeAdvisor, “for a better way to get home projects done right”.
The nationwide online marketplace where homeowners can find and connect with local prescreened home improvement, maintenance and repair professionals, was launched in October 1999 (as ServiceMagic) and has connected, since then, millions of homeowners to its network of home service professionals. The mobile app, which is free for download for iOS and Android, makes it easy to compare top-rated pros, schedule appointments and read customer reviews. Its range of tools includes ProFinder, ProReviews, True Cost Guide, Instant Booking and Instant Connect.
HomeAdvisor operates internationally in Canada, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Austria, and the UK.
