Genesis’ new midsize luxury sedan G80 is presented in a new ad.

“When you have seen the roughest seas and the calmest oceans. When you have witnessed the deepest darkness and the brightest light… Only then will you recognize the extraordinary. You live. You grow. You know,” the voiceover says on the 30-second ad, presenting then the Genesis G80, which is shown speeding down a street. The spot features a baby and a soccer player.

The 2021 Genesis G80, which made its debut on Sunday, March 29, features an “uncompromising design” that reflects the Genesis brand values and philosophy, with 3 dimensional headlamps, beam patterns that adapt automatically to driving speeds and lane changes, rear combination lamps with classical volumes harmonized with delicate, intricate graphics. The interior boasts top quality, open-pore real wood veneers, Prime Nappa leather seats, real aluminum finishes that accentuate the interior with geometric patterns, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, with a 14.5-inch infotainment system perched atop the dash, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

In terms of safety, it comes with a suite of driver-assistance systems such as forward-collision warning, blind-spot assist, adaptive cruise control, included as standard.

The 2021 Genesis G80 will arrive in the US in the second half of 2020.
