GEICO Fencers Commercial - Fencing Problem

GEICO has released a new ad to highlight that GEICO makes bundling your home and car insurance easy, helping you to save money.

The spot features a young couple of new homeowners who love the backyard of their new home, but wish they could improve their neighbors’ fencing. “Our new house is amazing. Great street, huge yard,” the wife, played by Sara Amini, says. Her husband, played by Micah Cohen, adds that there’s a bit of a problem of an issue with their neighbors’ fencing, and we get to see what the issue is about: their neighbors are fencers and fence all day long, even in the couple’s yard and house. When they least expect it, the new homeowners find themselves with the two sportspersons (played by Linsay Ames and Peter Katona) fencing around them and damaging various items. They are content, however, that, at least, GEICO makes bundling their home and car insurance easy, which helps them save money.

At the end of the commercial, the voiceover urges viewers to visit GEICO’s website for more information on bundling.

GEICO’s “Bundling Made Easy” campaign also includes several other similar commercials, in which new homeowners have different problems. One of the spots, for instance, features a young couple who love their new home, now that they have a lot of space and a guestroom, but they also have many aunts who come to live with them for a while and force them to deal with all kinds of unpleasant situations. Another ad features a couple of new homeowners talking about the advantages of their home, ignoring the HOA, named Cynthia, who does a series of things that would drive anyone crazy. Other ads feature a couple having the heavy metal band Ratt as neighbors, which is not quite easy for them, as the musicians perform in the apartment very often, and another couple having a clogging problem in their new home: their neighbors are clog dancers and can’t help doing their dance not even when they’re eating or doing various household chores.

GEICO has also been promoting its motorcycle and boat insurance, as well as its Giveback program, which implies giving auto, motorcycle, and RV policyholders a 15% credit on their next 6-month or 12-month policy term.
