GEICO continues its “Bundling Made Easy” campaign with a new installment, featuring a couple of new homeowners who are loving the space in their new home but they’ve just got a small problem with aunts.
The spot opens with the young couple (played by Alexis Jacknow and Damian Cecere) saying they love their new home because they have a lot of space and a guestroom. However, they also have aunts that not only visit them but also feel free to live with them for a while, which doesn’t seem an ideal situation for the two life partners, who have to deal with all kinds of situations: an aunt checking out the expiration date of the products they keep in the fridge, another one commenting that she hopes the couple can keep the house clean given its dimension, and another one ready to follow their social media activity.
The couple are content that GEICO makes bundling their home and auto insurance easy and helps them thus save a lot of money.
The commercial, which also features Alison Martin, Marianne Muellerleile, Livia Trevino and Jan Hoag as the four aunts, ends with the voiceover urging viewers to visit the company’s website for bundling made easy.
GEICO has released several other ads to highlight that bundling your home and auto insurance help you save money.
One ad features a couple of new homeowners (played by Lilli Birdsell and Johnny Sneed) talking about the advantages of their home, ignoring the HOA, named Cynthia (played by Annie Sertich), who does a series of things that would drive anyone crazy. Other ads feature a couple having the heavy metal band Ratt as neighbors, which is not quite easy for them, as the musicians perform in the apartment very often, and another couple having a clogging problem in their new home: their neighbors are clog dancers and can’t help doing their dance (which implies wearing inflexible, wooden-soled clogs and doing many different types of sound using their feet alone) not even when they’re eating or doing various household chores.
GEICO has also been promoting its motorcycle and boat insurance, as well as its Giveback program, which implies giving auto, motorcycle, and RV policyholders a 15% credit on their next 6-month or 12-month policy term.
