Clorox Inside vs. Outside Commercial Song

Clorox promotes its disinfecting products in a series of new ads.

One of them, titled “Inside vs. Outside,” showcases, through a split-screen video, the way people act in the comfort of their home and the way they act outside in the context of the new coronavirus pandemic. Thus, while those who are inside (and have all of their disinfected with Clorox) can do anything they like (from grabbing something from the fridge to using the toilet) without worrying about germs, those who are outside need to be cautious and avoid touching common surfaces with their hands or disinfect their hands very often. Clorox urges you to leave the outside outside and urges you to use Clorox Disinfecting Wipes, which kill SARS-CoV-2 on hard, non-porous surfaces.

At the end of the spot the range of Clorox products, which also includes Disinfecting Wet Mopping Cloths, Cleaner+Bleach, and Disinfecting Bleach, is showcased and the tagline “When it counts, trust Clorox” flashes across the screen.

The song used in the commercial is the 2019 single Look at Me by Kali J. The track has also been used in ads for Samsung, Nordstrom, United Healthcare, as well as movies and shows including Shameless, Batwoman, The Hills, Bulletproof 2, Siesta Key, Tiger Woods: Chasing History, and more.
