Cathedral City Cheese Stay Home TV Advert

Cathedral City has released a shorter, edited version of its 2012 “Come Home” TV ad to urge people to stay at home, in the midst of the coronavirus outbreak.

The 30-second spot, which features an empty schoolyard, desert roads, and a family cooking with Cathedral City cheddar and getting all together around the table, while in the background Dan Croll’s “Home” plays, highlights that “Right now more than ever the safest most comforting place to be is home.” At the end of the video, the hashtag #stay home appears on screen.

The brand’s 2012 “Come Home” TV advert showed several kids running from school back home to enjoy a meal prepared with Cathedral City cheddar with the family.

Cathedral City range includes Mild Cheddar, Mature, Lighter Mature and Extra Mature Cheddar, a lineup of lactose-free mature cheddar, half fat cheddar, sliced cheddar, grated cheddar, and even snack bars and minis.
