Burberry Dancers Advert

Burberry has released its Christmas ad, highlighting what Ricardo Tisci, chief creative officer, once said, namely that “It’s about that fearless spirit and imagination when pushing boundaries”.

The spot, directed by Megaforce, features dancers Chantel Foo, Kevin Bago, Robinson Cassarino and Zhané Samuels, all dressed in Burberry’s latest collection (which includes lots of tartan and tweed), performing a dance choreography on London’s Petticoat Lane to the rhythms of a modern cover version of the iconic song “Singing In The Rain”. This track, written by Nacio Herb Brown and Arthur Freed, is performed by Dreya Mac. The choreography was done by dance collective (La)Horde.

“This campaign is about looking forwards, looking to the future – inspired by youth, it brings together a community of different talents and worlds as one. United by passion, commitment and love, this campaign is a celebration of their dreams, of exploring and of always going beyond,” Riccardo Tisci, chief creative officer, said in a press statement.

The fashion house has also partnered with footballer and activist Marcus Rashford to finance a network of British youth centres.
