Aldi Australia has launched an affordable range of festive-themed decorations (as part of its Special Buys catalogue) and urges Australia to “Go Full Christmas with Decorations” in its Christmas ad.
The spot features a group of Santas showing up at a public pool and dancing in sync in the water, with assorted Christmas decorations in their hands, to the surprise of the witnesses. Thus, they showcase a nutcracker, an elf, an angel and santa, and the chain’s popular pre-lit Christmas tree, which measures 213 centimetres tall and comes complete with lights already fitted, which can be changed from coloured to white.
The song used in the ad is the 2016 single “Skwod” by British rapper Nadia Rose, from her debut EP “Highly Flammable”.
The discount supermarket chain will be selling Christmas decorations, including its popular $99 pre-lit Christmas tree, from Wednesday, November 4. The range also includes a fiber optic tree ($29.99), a pine Christmas tree ($39.99), and assorted Christmas decorations selling for $9.99 each.
