Lexus has released a new ad for its 2021 Lexus ES, highlighting that, while you may not always know what conditions are headed your way, you can be prepared to take them on – no matter how bananas things may seem – with the new 2021 Lexus ES, now available with All Wheel Drive.

“You may not expect the unexpected, but you may certainly take it on,” this is the idea behind the commercial, which features a young couple who are on their way to pick up some friends and ask themselves if they are going to make it on time. Soon after they hit the road, hundreds of banana peels start falling from the sky down to the city streets and on their car, a Lexus ES with AWD, which let them drive fast even on bananas and get to the destination with no delay.

“Wow, this rain is bananas!” their friend says after getting into the car.

At the end of the commercial, the 2021 Lexus ES Hybrid and Lexus ES F Sport AWD are showcased.

The ES features a long, wide stance and a sleek, coupe-like silhouette inherited from the flagship LS. Striking LED illumination and the ES F SPORT models take this style to the next level. The ES line-up also includes the 2021 ES F Sport Black Line Special Edition (limited to 1.500 vehicles), which is available in eye-catching exterior colors such as Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0, Ultra White and Obsidian.
