Tommy Hilfiger has released a new commercial to promote the TommyXZendaya Collection, designed in collaboration with Zendaya, the brand’s latest global women’s ambassador.
The ad features the 22-year-old actress and role model sporting two different looks – one of them includes the Organic Cotton Zodiac T-Shirt, Zendaya Loose Leg Jeans and Slingback Clogs, and the other one the Tailored Satin Trousers, the Satin Shirt, the Satin Blazer and Strappy Mules.
The TommyXZendaya Collection marks the first collaborative capsule collection of the fashion house and the 22-year-old actress, of whom Hilfiger said she is “an inspirational role model for her fans around the world, as she shines a spotlight on body positivity and diversity”.
Described as an ode to female forces from the golden eras of the ’70s and ’80s, such as Diana Ross, Farrah Fawcett and Grace Jones, the collection includes pieces ranging from size 4 to 24, that put a modern twist on the power dressing of these years. Zodiac-inspired prints, structured silhouettes, rainbow stripes, and a palette of red are some of the key features of the collection.
The TommyXZendaya collection debuted at the Tommy Hilfiger show on 2 March during Paris Fashion Week and is now available for purchase.
