“First cricket season away from home can be tough but fender benders can be tougher. For every time you get stumped, State Farm is here to help.” This is the idea behind the latest State Farm commercial, dubbed “Cricket Crashes”.

The 30-second ad features a young man explaining to his State Farm agent, Jinisha Patel, that he had a cricket crash. “Every day I see huge crowds high-fiving every dunk, every home run… But the one time I see the fans I wanna see… I get stumped,” he says, showing to the agent his damaged car. The latter answers she understands and suggests to file a claim so he can get back to watching the game. She then opens the State Farm app and they get started before the guy starts daydreaming again about the game.

The commercial ends with the voiceover urging viewers to “Go with the one that’s here to help life go right”.
