Specsavers advertises, in its latest advert, its Christmas deals.
The character taking center stage is Scrooge, a hard man to please unless something is free. The elderly and unpleasant old man is shown walking down the sidewalk and making negative comments on the things around him, such as toys and a street musician. However, after entering a Specsavers branch and enjoying some of the deals available, he changes his approach and becomes nicer – this includes giving out some coins to the young man he had previously named “infernal racket” and wishing locals “Merry Christmas”.
“With amazing deals on glasses, hearing aids and contact lenses, we can make anyone smile at Specsavers, the voiceover says at the end of the advert.
This year, Specsavers are celebrating Christmas with 12 free offers including 2 for 1 on glasses from the £69 to £169 ranges, free hearing tests, free contact lenses trial, free glasses for NHS customers from the £19, £29 or £49 ranges, a free UltraClear SuperClean lens treatment for those who purchase one pair of glasses, and more.
