Old Spice advertises its Dry Shampoo in a hilarious new ad, that also promotes the brand’s “Breath Of Fresh Hair” contest.

“You’ve got something special. And you want to show it off. Hair that’s refreshed and clean, thanks to new Old Spice Dry Shampoo,” the voiceover says at the beginning of the 30-second spot, which features a young blonde man who applies the Old Spice Dry Shampoo while standing near a red convertible. “Now you can immortalize this freshness forever with your very own hood ornament of your head and its clean hair,” the voiceover also says referring to the brand’s “A Breath Of Fresh Hair” contest, that gives participants the chance to have their own head and fresh hair immortalized as a hood ornament.

The commercial, soundtracked by Bach’s “Suite No. 1 in G major, BWV 1007 – ii Allemande,” ends with the voiceover urging viewers to “Own a piece of timeless hairodynamic history thanks to Old Spice Dry Shampoo”.

The Breath Of Fresh Hair contest starts today, February 19, 2019 and ends on February 26, 2019. In order to participate, you must post a single photo on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook of a headshot of you showcasing your hair, tag @oldspice, and include #BreathOfFreshHair and #contest. Once the contest perior is over, all eligible entries received will be judged by Sponsor based on the best hair and the entry that receives the highest score will be deemed the potential winner of the personalized hood ornament.
