Jayson Tatum and Deuce are the heroes St. Louis needs in one of the latest commercials released by Foot Locker, that showcases the Air Max 97 “Arch”.
The 30-second ad features an animated version of the Boston Celtics forward and his little son, Deuce, as they team up and fight crime in St. Louis. Equipped with the new Air Max 97 basketball sneaker, they defend the Arch.
The Air Max 97 “Arch” pays homage to Tatum’s hometown of St. Louis by featuring drawings of the iconic St. Louis Gateway Arch. The stainless steel Gateway Arch is also symbolized through a silver midsole. Tatum’s school, Chaminade College Preparatory School in Creve Coeur, Missouri, is also celebrated through the use of the the school’s Red Devils colors with red and black on the uppers and printed basketball cartoon graphics on its mudguard.
The limited-edition Jayson Tatum x Nike Air Max 97 was launched at House of Hoops by Foot Locker on June 13 and had a wider release at Foot Locker locations on June 15.
