NHS Woman Advert

East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust, one of the largest hospital trusts in England, has released a new TV advert, featuring IT, support and Admin staff from East Kent Hospitals.

“We are saying ‘Hello’ to 300 million patients a year. We’re millions of fingers on thousands of keys – emailing, messaging, booking and re-booking. We’re under desks, in the wards, and on top of everything. We’re data, collecting, analyzing, sharing. We’re megabytes, down mega-cables of mega importance. We are support and the rest of the IT crowd keeping our cool, keeping the systems running, that help keep every patient well. We’re a ping in a pocket, a moment of hope, we’re new kidney for Lily, at the right time, on the right day. We are IT. We are Support. We are recruiting now. We are the NHS,” the voiceover says on the 60-second spot, which concludes with an onscreen line encouraging viewers to search NHS Support & IT jobs.

East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust runs the Kent and Canterbury Hospital (Canterbury), Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital (Margate), William Harvey Hospital (Ashford), Royal Victoria Hospital (Folkestone), Buckland Hospital (Dover), and some outpatient facilities in the East Kent and Medway areas in England. Serving a local population of around 759,000 people, it is also a teaching Trust involved in the education and training of doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals, with local universities and Kings College University in London.
