“What Would You Do For a Maryland Cookie?” is the question raised in the latest advert released by Maryland Cookies to promote the new sugar free Maryland Cookies.
The 15-second spot, part of a longer spot, actually, aimed at highlighting that people will go to great lengths to get their hands on the brand’s cookies, features a Maryland Cookies shopkeeper who asks everybody entering his shop, where money is not accepted, what they would do for a Maryland Cookie. One of the customers, a young woman, does a magic trick by making a Maryland cookie float.
At the end of the advert, the voiceover presents the new sugar free Maryland Cookies and encourages viewers to try them now, as they are available for purchase in Sainsbury’s and Tesco.
The brand of cookie produced by Burton’s Foods in the UK, which is “the Nation’s favourite cookie brand”, according to the packaging, offers a wide range of cookies in every format for a variety of occasions and consumers, from the standard and mini cookies to the indulgent Big and Chunky or to the light and crispy Thin cookies.
