Havertys promotes is Summer Savings Event in a new commercial, informing people that they now have the chance to get an extra $100 off purchases greater than $999.

The 30-second spot features two women sitting at a table, with easels in front of them. “Ever since she got her new Havertys furniture, she’s been hosting all sorts of things,” one of them says. At this point, as the camera pans, it turns out the respective woman is at a friend’s house, where her friend organized an art class. The latter is seen showing up in the room, telling the ladies that “tonight is all about letting loose” and urging them to fill up their glasses before proceeding to paint. When her husband, Tom, shows up, as well, in a bathrobe, ready to model for the art class “students” and asking them where they want him to sit, she immediately summons him to go in a different room and talk.

The commercial ends with the voiceover saying that Havertys Summer Savings Event is going on now and that everything is on sale. Viewers are also informed that they can get an extra $100 off purchases of $999.
