Audi showcases the 2019 Audi A6 in a new commercial, titled “Layers,” that raises the question “Was it necessary to take an award-winning luxury car and start over?”.
“Here’s a question: Was it necessary to create a luxury car more teched out than Silicon Valley?” the voiceover asks at the beginning of the 30-second spot, which opens with a young woman in a parking lot, getting into her Audi A6. “With a cockpit fit for a spaceship. Hang on. Radar that senses things the human eye can’t. And the ability to make a thousand decisions before you even make one. Was all this really necessary? What do you think?” the voiceover also asks.
The commercial ends with the onscreen lines “The all-new, heartpounding Audi A6. Progress is never satisfied”.
The all-new 2019 Audi A6 boasts a new 3.0-liter TFSI V6 engine, that features a twin-scroll turbocharger that helps the engine produce 369 lb ft of torque and 335 hp, quattro all-wheel drive with ultra technology, dynamic all-wheel steering system, LED taillights with dynamic animation, HD Matrix-design LED headlights with Dynamic DRL, LED taillights with dynamic indicators, and an interior that comes with the available Audi virtual cockpit, featuring a high-resolution 12.3″ screen, two display modes and the ability to show your location in Google Earth or via a 3D map, Audi phone box, head-up display with navigation information, the available Individual Contour Seating package, with Achat Gray Fine Grain Wood inlays.
The A6 range includes the A6 Premium (starting at $58,900), the A6 Premium Plus (starting at $62,700), and the A6 Prestige (starting at $67,100).
